GENERAL INFORMATION
1.
The following documents must be brought to the ride:
Ride logbook (Completed)
Horse logbook/FEI passport (completed)
(logbooks and vaccinations must be completed correctly to
FEI prescriptions)
2.
The ride will be a qualifying FEI ride and be ridden
under such rules.
81,8 km * , 111,8 km * ; 126,5 km ** and 160,3 km *** distances
will be registered FEI rides.
3.
Minimum age and pre-rides for a horse to participate are
as per Article 816 of the FEI rules:
Under the age of 5 years –
not allowed to participate

the maximum distance is 80km – 90 km
6 years
for CEI* and CEI**
7 years
for CEI***
Mares obviously in advanced pregnancies or with foal at foot
cannot be entered in any event.

Maximum time to vet is 20min on all legs except the last
leg which has a 30min

There will be a Vet re-inspection for participants to be
announced at the ride.

Time stop for all the distances at the vet point except
for the rider’s last leg

Weight divisions for Senior riders are as follows:
No weight division, Standard weight 70kg + and Heavy weight
10.
Categories of riders:
Child riders:
13 years and under – children are allowed to ride on their own
Young riders:
The year in which he/she turns 14 – 21 years No weight: The year in which a rider turns 14 - and choose not to compete in the Young rider division;
and all senior riders who choose not to weigh.
Senior riders: The year in which a rider turns 14 - and weigh
between 70 kg – 95 kg may compete in this category.
Heavy weight: The year in which a rider turns 14 – and weigh 95
kg +

The minimum time limit for all distances is 10km/h .
12.
All complaints to be valid must be in writing and
accompanied by a prescribed deposit.
13.
Nobody except the official vets may under any
circumstances give injections to
14.
No horses may leave the premises after the event
unless signed out by the

Horses may be ridden without shoes, but if shod they must
be correctly shod
16.
DRESS CODE:
PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT THIS IS A *** EVENT, AND YOU ARE
REMINDED TO DRESS ACCORDINGLY (Art. 809 Endurance Rules).
No shorts, jeans, trainers or sandals will be allowed at the
Opening ceremony, the Prize-giving ceremony as well as in the
Vet gate.
During the actual competition all riders must wear appropriate
riding attire, shirt/polo shirt to include a collar.
Protective headgear of a recognized endurance standard,
and adequately secured, is compulsory for all riders whilst
mounted. Safe
riding footwear with heels (12 mm or more) or safety stirrups
are compulsory.
